RECRUCIFIED receives European Co-Development Support by MEDIA

Exciting news just in from Brussels: RECRUCIFIED has been selected for European Co-Development support by Creative Europe - MEDIA!

The adaptation of Nikos Kazantzakis's classic novel "Christ Recrucified" into a contemporary, sharp cinematic film has been in the plans of Indigo View Productions in recent years, with the introduction of both its director, Theo Papadoulakis, and the company itself, to feature-length cinematic fiction.

Theo Papadoulakis' debut feature film is a contemporary adaptation of international best-selling classic "Christ Recrucified" by Nikos Kazantzakis

With the film's development already spanning several years, and having participated in international forums (Script 2 Film Workshops, Cinemed Festival, When East Meets West Co-production Market, EFM 2023), the production has been structured as a tripartite venture, involving Greece, Italy and Cyprus, with the involvement of Indigo View Productions, The Piranesi Experience and Boycott Films.

The Creative Europe - MEDIA grant marks a new phase in our development journey, enabling us and our co-producers to broaden our network of creative, technical, and financial partners, in support of the director's vision for a state-of-the-art European film of the highest quality.
